TUSTIN, Calif. – September 7, 2022 – SYSPRO, a global provider of ERP software, today announced that Kevin Bell, Vice President of Pre-Sales at SYSPRO USA, will present at IMTS 2022 on “How Lean, Just-in-Time and Technology can Mitigate the Effects of the Supply Chain Crisis.”
IMTS 2022, which is the largest and longest-running industry trade show in the Western Hemisphere, will take place in Chicago at McCormick Place from September 12-17. At the conference, industry professionals from around the globe will come together to discover the latest innovations in digital and traditional manufacturing, experience more than 15,000 new machining technologies, and find processes that will help solve their manufacturing challenges and improve efficiency.
Bell’s presentation will take place on September 14 at 10:00 A.M Central Time. In his presentation, Bell will show how, far from causing the supply chain crisis, the application of lean principles is a powerful solution to mitigate its effects. By moving from a “push” to a “pull” system, manufacturers can ensure that they’re making the most use of what stock they have.
Bell will detail how Lean and Just-In-Time can be paired with technologies such as ERP to amplify these methodologies’ powerful effects.
